Issued to delivery drivers & other employees of Jester Pizza, Rotborough’s local pizza spot owned and franchised by the mayor, Gray Jones. Controversially, it was company policy for servers and delivery drivers to embarrass themselves to earn money, with many going to extreme lengths to achieve good pay. Jones wasn’t required to pay standard minimum wage to his employees; he used political subterfuge to hide within the job application in fine print that working at Jester was essentially community service/volunteer work with “potential benefits”. The definition of these benefits were never concretely stated. However, following a wrongful death lawsuit after employee Justin Thomlinson tarred and feathered himself to entertain a customer, the slogan was changed to: "Always heed the Royal Decree! If I don't dance for you, your pizza is free." During court proceedings, after the Thomlinson’s delivered an emotional victim impact statement, Mayor Gray Jones responded: "Thomlinson’s, I’m sorry Justin died. I-uh I feel uh for you. The uh – best thing you can do though – for uh, Justin and yourselves is to uh, just get over it, ya know? And maybe enjoy a slice at Jester, to honor his memory there. That's wh-what he would have wanted I think – was to be uh – for you to be uh, to be uhhh happy there. Hm yea, so anyway. They later settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.
